Back to Cabo San Lucas

After spending a week out at Nahe Dem we had friends from Calgary coming to Cabo San Lucas (Cabo) for a couple of weeks, we drove back to Playa Las Viudas after restocking our cupboards in San Jose del Cabo (San Jose), Costco in Cabo and doing business via the internet as there is no cell or internet service out at Nahe Dem. We  contacted our friends who were staying at Hacienda Encantada located approximately 8kms/5 miles east of Cabo and drove over to visit them. We met up with Lew & Elizabeth and their friend Joe & Kit who were staying at American Fiesta Resort which we could actually see from the beach at Viudas. We met them in San Jose for dinner at Shooters which is owned by a couple from Lethbridge in Alberta.

Catherine & Elizabeth

We had a week of timeshare that we needed to use, or loose it, so after trying to find something in a resort close to Cabo with parking for our rig we decided to arrange a week at Hacienda Encantada as they had lots of room to park our camper within the secure area of the resort but we could not get in until the following week. After booking this we returned to Nahe Dem for another four nights enjoying more sunsets and taking beach walks.
We were also surprised to see deer on the Baja, although Chris & Nicole said they had seen a Lynx at this beach.
We left here and headed into San Jose to do laundry, have some lunch and then headed over to Hacienda Encantada for check-in at 4pm. We spent a week here just hanging out around the resort.

Fishermen cleaning and fileting their fish while Seagulls, Pelicans and a Seal waited for the scraps.

We also watched some nice sunsets from our room balcony.

Los Arcos in the distance

On the Friday before Lew & Elizabeth were due to leave we all went into Cabo to visit ‘The Office’ before wandering into town for dinner.

Our last night in the resort they had a fireworks display, they must have been celebrating our leaving.
From here we deciding we had spent enough time in the area, once we check-out of the resort we would be heading in a northerly direction.
